Thirty-five years ago, Torben Lyngsoe and I launched Hunters Video, a venture that transformed our lives and took us on extraordinary hunting adventures around the globe. Meeting local people, experiencing their cultures, and hunting or going on safari in different climates was a unique adventure for us. Most people would think it was great fun but believe me, it was hard work too. Carrying around 25 kg of camera gear, tripods, and batteries, working in temperatures from minus 35 to plus 40 degrees, and going up mountains to 6300 meters for a Marco Polo Ram is a big challenge. Hard work is needed if you want to be among the best, and the reward of capturing these moments on film was so great. The friendships forged and the unforgettable memories made along the way are the true treasures of this journey. We started with the modern VHS tape, and as technology advanced rapidly, we partnered with Seeland, Härkila, and Casten Norregaard, who provided the best hunting outfits. This partnership allowed us to distribute VHS tapes to hunting shops.
